About the Survey

Context & Background

The Radio Listenership Survey 2008 was conducted to assess the reach and impact of Foundation Radio across the Northwest Region of Cameroon. The study brought together Foundation Radio, the Youth Outreach Program in Bamenda, and Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC.

The survey measured audience engagement, programme awareness, and the station's role in informing and educating communities on issues of democracy, health, agriculture, and culture.
